I was easing 'em into it with a more genteel version.

True story - first time I went to McDonald's in London (more years ago than I will admit to) EVERYONE in the place had plates and were eating their hamburgers and fries with knife and fork.

We received scathing looks and even a few comments when we proceded pick up our burgers and eat with our hands.

In Louisiana, people are asking why the Scots don't just cook and eat the abundance of crawfish, but that's something Scottish officials have decided would create a market and further spread the crawfish infestation in their waterways.
