You ever make to the US on a food tour, you have to find one of these in whatever town/city you end up in - a walk up burger stand. It'll probably look derelict, but that's likely a good sign. Generally family owned. They will have the best burgers.

oooh cuban sandwiches, I gotta hell of a taste for them now following my last trip@Bryan
Yep. Here's my local - you walk inside, here. Best Cuban sandwich in town, also great for aged steaks. Fish fry every weekend, also where I go for shrimp and grits if I can't be arsed to make my own. Theirs comes with andouille on top. Fresh angus burgers, ground and formed in house.
You'll never find it. Heh.

(*my internal radar that goes off when passing by places I should stop and eat in)
I'm sure there's no smoke smell to follow while you're arriving. Oh no. I can see a rib sandwich wrapped in butcher paper right now.
Smell that. Ahhhhhhhh... Give me a cold Cheerwine to go with. Sop the sauce with the bread. Mmmmmm...
Least it's all inclusive there.Avoid Guantanamo.
