Appreciate not everyone can 'stomach' oysters but I love them, salty, mineral and sweet with a shallot vinegraitte - food of the Gods......
My mum's specialty, that and squid, as she's a chef. Sadly, I can't stomach either!

Have you been to Cancale in Brittany, near St Malo, the oysters there are sold off the beach as they come in!
And they supply the necessary... nutrients... for a good night's sleep, or so I hear.
