I like Carls Jr. In fact, you liked some Carls Jr pics of mine on Instagram years ago.....

Carls Jr is also the best burgers available in NZ.

As someone who's never been that far N/W, why should I visit SJI (or even Seattle) over Vancouver? Can I get a brief Azul-like trip advisor for the Vancouver-Seattle area?

Uhmm....Seattle is my favorite city in the whole world. (Mostly) Clean, safe, really laid back. Has some awesome museums. Tons of stuff to do. You like live music? No better place for that than Seattle.

Some old friends and I had a potluck last night with our families.

The menu was:

Pork Tenderloins half-smoked with dry rub then maple glazed to finish cooking.
Brown Sugar Baked Beans with ground sausage and bacon.
Mustard Potato Salad (with celery salt!)
Honey Baked Beer Bread
Chocolate and Cream Cheese Brownies

Admittedly missing a nice healthy side to break up the starches/proteins, but incredible nonetheless.
