American Food

Swerve Nantucket next time. San Juan Islands, WA.

Another boss spot is a little village called Langley on Whidbey Island. The Inn at Langley is great. The chef is amazing.
Or set your own pots and catch your own crab!!! Nothing like doing it all your self! Did this a couple of times when stationed up there with a mate. Good times.

Where were you? FT Lewis?

I'm from the Seattle mate...will always champion anything Western WA related. Beautiful part of the country.

Bangor. On the secretive missile boats. Up and down the Hood Canal and the Strait for 5 years.

I spent many a night in Seattle. My favorite city in the US by far.

Used to date girls in both Poulsbo and Port Orchard. Spent loads and loads of time in both. Guy in my division lived about half way down Beach Drive. Good place to sit and watch the carriers leave from (when we weren't out punching holes in the ocean)

Will confess though, I hated the Bremerton Ferry. Always used the Kingston one. As I lived in Silverdale, basically in the middle, I would always choose Kingston due to the quicker crossing time.

Back to food. Saw this at the grocery, had to post a picture...

Cheese on Texas Toast. Cheese on New York brand Texas Toast. Moment of WOW. No preservatives.

Vindicated :) Glad you agree.

As someone who's never been that far N/W, why should I visit SJI (or even Seattle) over Vancouver? Can I get a brief Azul-like trip advisor for the Vancouver-Seattle area?
