Best of luck to him I think. Been a while since we've had a sale like this to be honest, selling Richarlison I was gutted, with Gordon I was delighted, now with Onana it's kinda apathy. He'll be a good player but I'm also not fussed on losing him, team doesn't really suffer with or without him all that much.

100% one of those players who people will claim was wasted at Everton and way better than he was in about 5 years when any memory of him playing has faded.

Nothing to do with the player in question.

It's the fact that he's gone to *Villa* as a step up in his career. 5 years ago they were finishing 5th in the Championship ffs. Such an indictment of the way we've been absolutely run into the ground, and of what a competent operator COULD have done with us.
