@Connor quick question, why is the copy so poor at the online Echo? I read a lot of Greg O'Keefe's stuff now he is at the BBC, when he was at the Echo it was littered with errors but is now decent. Here we've got 're-start' among a load of others.

Kirkbride is a tedious suck-up, but surely he must be a trained journalist?

If he had any integrity he would resign but I think we all know that isn't going to happen. He will hang on for every penny he can screw out of the club.

It`s a shockingly written piece, but giving him the benefit, I`d say he`s rushed it, so as he is the first journo, to get the " Crowd Turns on Allardyce " scoop out.

I can’t see him going before the end of the season. His job was to keep us in the league and he needs another three points (probably) to do it. He's gone the end of the season, that's the only positive. Even before he was appointed he deserved stick. He is thick skinned. Remember Newcastle ( I remember laughing when the barcodes appointed him) and of course West Ham who basically abused him for a full season. Pounds, shillings and pence. Is even compared us to them.
