I agree, he did get better as in the second half went on.

I think coming from Serie A which is a slower pace league, the speed of Liverpool and their press is something that has to catch a player off guard. Hopefully he will be better next time at Anfield.

It's like his 6th game for us and he's just come back from a groin injury. He's top class. No Peter Reid though.

Yes...if you watch the 84-85 videos filmed from the Main Stand then you start to get an understanding of how great PR was and what is needed to dominate a pitch and ground as big as Goodison Park.

Then you'll know how difficult it is to control the midfield at a place like Goodison Park right?

So you have to get players who are comfortable with a football and who can take responsibility in the midfield area despite what the defence or the attack are doing right?
