That is a fair analysis. I have little doubt he'll show his quality.

Thought he was miles off the pace all game myself, the game just seemed to pass him by.

I agree, he did get better as in the second half went on.

I think coming from Serie A which is a slower pace league, the speed of Liverpool and their press is something that has to catch a player off guard. Hopefully he will be better next time at Anfield.

So you have to get players who are comfortable with a football and who can take responsibility in the midfield area despite what the defence or the attack are doing right?
