i thought he looked like he struggled with the pace first half, got done a few times and I was worried he may take time to settle. Second half came out and bossed it. Him and Dacoure are exactly what we needed.

This fella has a brain, only presses when it's possible and then literally sits in when needed... And when he does sit in he makes everyone aware where he is and where they are.

Liked him for a few years now. Im a big fan of his type + defenders and the Richarlison type forwards.

Those with effort and determination but with skill and quality.

Im someone who will focus more on and enjoy watching Allan / Doucoure / Richarlison than James or Gomes.

Best thing about him today was that he quickly adapted. My only concern with him was whether he could adapt.

Can see him + Doucoure actually being at the club for the next 5 years albeit perhaps adjusting roles as they get older.

His positional awareness is very good, this guy is the real deal and with Doucoure, we finally have a midfield with some aggression, have to say I thought Gomes benefited too, he was 20 yards further up the pitch and as his confidence and fitness gets better, I think he will surprise a few.
