Just to add to the complexity of it all - time being relative - would mean that for the very first beams of light created from the big bang, exactly zero time has elapsed since its creation.Exactly mate... 'Before' would have to exist outside the space-time continuum, meaning space and time could only exist after the Big Bang explosion.
And around and around we go... So many hypothesises.
One theory being that the universe was created on some sort of causality loop, meaning it created something during its existence that has the ability to transverse outside space-time continuum to cause the Big Bang explosion....
