Current Affairs Aliens and possible disclosure

Aliens. Are they real? Are they here?

I’d say yes to the first, as the universe is simply too large for them not to.

I’d say ‘who knows’ to the second as there’s so much information and disinformation around.

I keep reading about disclosure, however for me I feel there must be world peace and mankind as one before that happens.

I, for one, welcome our new alien overlords.

A mate of mine is obsessed by this and convinced that something is coming out soon as Marco Rubio, Trump's new Secretary of State, is supposedly big on revealing stuff about UFOs.

I'd hope that when it doesn't happen it convinces him and others that there's nothing to reveal, but these sorts of things have a habit of never going away.

I do not doubt that there are life forms on other planets, but the sheer number of coincidences required for them to travel to Earth during the exact same time that humans exist makes me doubt very much that there are any here.

Unless some kind of entity can defy physics and travel at the speed of light, we’ll probably never know.

Walking to the nearest star Proxima Centauri would take 950 million years. It’d take over 40,000 years if we travelled in the rocket that went to the moon.

Unless there’s something knocking about in our solar system, I don’t think we’ll ever see anything. Maybe there could be some evidence of past life on mars or some living micro organisms on one of Jupiter's moons.

It's all very compelling and personally I'd love for it to be proven that we are not alone in the universe.

But...

I'm still highly skeptical of the recent hearings on disclosure.
The thing is, aside from the US government making some admissions of certain projects and taking a larger interest, we still don't have any more evidence than we did 20 years ago.

High ranking military and government types have been coming forward for years. There was the whole disclosure project in the 2000's which had a number of ex high ranking military witnesses. We also still don't have any video or photographic evidence that is better than the same old grainy black & white images we've been seeing for years.

As I say, it's all very compelling, but it all seems a bit performative for me.

It's also worth noting that it's still a very open topic on what these phenomenon might actually be.
Aliens is pretty far down the list with some sort of advanced terrestrial technology (either from a foreign or domestic military power or even a private company such as Lockheed Martin etc.) being the most likely.
Even some sort of natural phenomenon that we are yet to understand would be higher up the list.

Occam's Razor tends to push the Extraterrestrial Intelligence theory down quite a bit.

If only we had a technology where billions of people could be walking around all over the planet with HD cameras and phones in their pockets to catch all the examples of UFOs out there.

I don’t for one second think we are the only planet with life in the Universe but I think there is an infinitesimally small chance we have ever been visited by an alien civilisation.

I've been interested in the phenomenon for about 20 years.

It's as close as it's ever been...Follow money IE Lockheed EG&G an Raytheon and you'll get the answers.

Dave Grusch has put the cat amongst the pigeons but the problem is Congress keep getting blocked from getting him in a close Scif meeting to reveal what knows... IE military names,dark projects and contractors.

There is lot of people in legacy intelligence programs that are very worried at the minute.
