My only criticism is he held onto the ball way too long at times. Made some good tackles and had a few good moves (including that dribble early on and that really good touch off the long ball). One of his better out wide performances
I will give him credit when its due, I thought he was sloppy at times, but he kept plugging away and had some good touches.

One of those games where everyone (including the idiot that almost lost us the game with the red card!!) came out to play. We were whooping Tottenham in terms of effort and should have battered them. Unlucky not to win that game

Thought that Alex Iwobi had a decent game against Tottenham although he did get caught out a few times by what looked like a lack of concentration. To be fair to the lad though, there were occasions when there wasn't much going on in front of him in the way of options when he had the ball.

Not sure what game others were watching. He got caught in possession and was half asleep when the ball was coming to him.
Slight improvement 2nd half but i thought he was sloppy.
Seems you have to just run around a bit to be classed as having a great game.
I've said it before but any team that starts him will be bottom half. Jack of all trades, master of none. Certainly tries hard but very little end product.

Just watched the rest of the match.

Strong running, high energy 2nd half.

If we keep him, then it would need to be sensible wages as a utility player.

Unless Dyche is fully confident on starting Simms now, I would give garner his chance now.
I feel dyche sees Simms as an impact sub at the mo, and while he's happy with performances why change the system
I'd like to agree with you on Garner. But I dont think he's going to offer what Doucoure's offerd of late in terms of getting about the midfield and up supporting the attack.

Sloppy in possession especially first half but improved 2nd half. He works really hatd but frustrats the life out of me giving the ball away with 5 yard passes. More suited in a central role but Dyche trusts him to help out Seamus so need to put up with it.
