Player Valuation: £70m
They probably had him valued at around £12m, and we came flying ih with a whopping £30m bid.

It’s hard to decide what was worse, Kenwright’s budget of curly wurlys & tales of boys pen, or Mosh’s profligacy. They probably had him valued at around £12m, and we came flying ih with a whopping £30m bid.
Don’t know whether im surprised or not that Iwobi would even admit that was what went down!

I mean he’s not responsible for how much we valued / paid for him, but he must be aware of the P&S stuff and general fan attitude to whether he was a waste of money or not.
He’s either daft or simply doesn’t care, I suspect it’s the former, but talk about stirring up a hornets nest!
Don't worry mate we will do the same when Fulham offer us 4 million this summer.
We let too many of our players' contract run out. Who's to say we won't actually get any money for Iwobi if we sold him. Some fools out there actually spend money on Maupay
Would but your hand off for £20million for the two of them. Maupay going wouldn’t be noticed and we could replace Iwobi playing Iwobi with a more effective right midfielder for £20mil. Only thing is, will we actually get to spend any of the money we make on player sales this summer? We all laugh about it but £12mil for Iwobi and £8mil for Maupay is still £20mil.
Thats almost 2/3 of the Onana fee.
I know who I'd rather have.
Newcastle paid mad amount for GordonIf we can sell him sure. Who will actually pay though?

Wasn’t thinking so much about whether we’ll be in breach for the last 3 accounting years but more about our go forward position this summer - if we sell players and generate £20mil will we be able to spend that on a new player or will we have to pocket the sale proceeds to balance books and look to sign free transfers or loans?Im pretty confident we wont have any punishment.
With Chelsea and City now looking in FFP trouble -- per the media -- the premier league wouldnt look too clever attacking 3 clubs.
Weve already had our FFP passed anyway so not sure whats going on at this point.
