The problem is, 95% of the time, his stepovers don't fool any the defenders in the premiership...

He's crap. No better than you or me really. I can do stepovers, beat the defender and whip a cross into the box. I can also hit it behind whilst attempting to cross. I wouldn't expect anyone to pay me 35k a week to do it though.


Get shut as soon as possible. Waste of a shirt.

He also looks permanently unfit, overweight and can't last a full game. Within two years of retiring ( hopefully soon ) he'll be the same size as Southall. Get rid asap.

I like McCarthy, he breaks up play and wins back possession well. He's not the type to carry a team though and he doesn't always fit into Ireland's style of play.

Mcgeady is just hopeless.knew he was a medicore player coming to us but thought with the right coaching he could become a big player for us.how wrong i was.he must not listen to a word thats said to him.just does the same things over and over.how much would we even get for him or would we have to pay someone to take him off our hands and wage bill.absolutely shocking for ireland as well last night which is the norm now for him at club and country.

Shane long isnt nor ever will be a natural finisher.put him through one on one where he has a couple of seconds to think and he will miss 9 times out of 10.great target man if thats your style as with ireland but defo not an everton player
