Not he really didn't bar a couple of crucial goals. We had to play him though, he has serious talent.

I think DCL can get better and develop further, whereas Geades is where he is and isn't going to develop any further, so it makes sense to give the kid more chances over him

Anyway, you were complaining that not enough kids were playing earlier the season, crusading against it almost, now you're all for bringing back 31 year old Aiden McGeady at the expense of a 20 year old DCL. Bit of a sharp 180 from you isn't it?

How are they comparable?

We bought McGeady when he was in his late twenties and he clearly wasn't quite up to this standard. He's doing well at Preston now - good for him.

Calvert-Lewin is 20 years old and may (or may not) progress hugely in the next few years.

Fair play to him, found his level and is doing well for himself. Hopefully they buy him and we make a few quid on a free transfer who didn't at all work out.
