Not even worthy of a thread. Lazy player who has ability but will never be consistent at top level ... one good goal a season and two good games if your lucky !

It'll be interesting to see what happens to him at the end of the season. PNE operate a pretty rigid salary cap for their squad and he'd have to take a fair hit on his wages if he joined them permanently and, although he's done well there, looking good in the Championship isn't likely to open up many doors for him.
The Sinclair C5 of football players.
But maybe Moyes will get the best out of him next season.
Blimey, just checked this and you're spot on.He's 31 now I think
A great example of simple talent not being enough to consistently deliver at the top level. All about mindset and application.
Must be frustrating for him, as well as us, that he can do something incredibly difficult one moment and then trip over his own feet the next.A great example of simple talent not being enough to consistently deliver at the top level. All about mindset and application.
Preston was last chance saloon for him. The right thing to do would be take a pay cut and sign ... but !!!!!!It'll be interesting to see what happens to him at the end of the season. One of Ireland's most capped players and that alone delivers my total respect. Nagging feeling though that he could have been our game changer.Blimey, just checked this and you're spot on.
I was just about to type something very similar.
He got a whole season mate and turned in 1 or 2 decent performances. That's it ! No use !One of Ireland's most capped players and that alone delivers my total respect. Nagging feeling though that he could have been our game changer.
I think so. Although his focus must be questioned as well.Must be frustrating for him, as well as us, that he can do something incredibly difficult one moment and then trip over his own feet the next.
