It'll be interesting to see what happens to him at the end of the season. PNE operate a pretty rigid salary cap for their squad and he'd have to take a fair hit on his wages if he joined them permanently and, although he's done well there, looking good in the Championship isn't likely to open up many doors for him.

He's 31 now I think. Not many doors left to choose from.
 
Remember people thinking he just wasn't Match fit when we signed him and defending him to the hilt for months!

Preston was last chance saloon for him. The right thing to do would be take a pay cut and sign ... but !!!!!!
 
Must be frustrating for him, as well as us, that he can do something incredibly difficult one moment and then trip over his own feet the next.
I think so. Although his focus must be questioned as well.

He half grew up in Donegal, there's an anecdote of his cousin abstaining from booze the week before a Donegal GAA game. Allegedly Geeds had a Blues game on the same future date but he had the vodka and orange. Could be nonsense but I suspect it's not.
