The what?Likely to be the "Q: And Babies ? A : And Babies" moment of this war
Getting mad at Biden instead of the people who sent them there in the first place is kinda dumb. Its a pretty weird logic to think you have to stay involved in a war forever because some of your soldiers died.
Its been a pointless war, the US had to pull out eventually. Why stay there ? Nothing has improved has it. If they had stayed for another year do you think the Afghan forces would have suddenly becoming a massive deterrent to the Taliban ? Better to get out and stay out, and learn from it. The learning bit won't happen though.
With that many people on the apron, the plane would struggle to take off and that's if it is fuelled and ready etc. The vacuum without the ANA/Police is worrying.
Please, you're better than that. One can only imagine what the coverage would be like if Corbyn had been in charge for this.
apart from stopping mass terror attacks in the west?
Please, you're better than that.
You could say this was to some extent true as of 2001 to 2010*. After that, the preparation for terror by some of these organisations moved to other nations.apart from stopping mass terror attacks in the west?
Look at the usual people on here are blaming Biden for this, despite in one case admitting he knows the timeline and who signed the treaty ordering it to happen. He is still blaming Biden today.
If a Labour PM was in power now, everyone on here knows exactly how this would be being spun on here by those people and in the national media.
If Corbyn was that PM, the spinning would be a thousand times worse.
It's definitely a worry how organised the Taliban look this time.
They were clearly a bit of a mess before but if they now build infrastructure like ISIS then who knows how far it will go.
