Happy with the result, which in my mind is a victory for football over corrupt refereeing.Utterly mad.
Surely there will be more to this. Refusing to let the game continue for ages can’t be acceptable and just glossed over?? Time-wasting? Dissent? No bookings. Then huge impact for the penalty taker after the building pressure (although no sympathy after that hapless effort).

That said, each of the Senegal players at the least should have received at the very least a caution. It is plainly in the laws of the game.
Not sure what the card situation was before that.
Pure madness, the whole thing, but enjoyable enough I'll be watching it again.
As a referee myself, I would say that would be the easier decision.
However, in major events like this, that have their own tournament rules, you will be in communication with the organizers about what to do in these kinds of situations. Typically lightning or crowd safety are the concerns, but I could see this applying here too.

Above my pay grade, it's a political question at this point, not a football one. However much I wanted Senegal to win, we can't have this, and they need to stop this before it becomes a tactic to employ.

On the other hand, the refereeing was shady and Morocco ball boys have been doing some very shady stuff. Stealing goalkeeper towels and what not. They did it against Nigeria too and even threw a banana at our goalkeeper.
People on the Morocco subreddit were defending the ball boys by saying it's because Black Africans were going to do voodoo
So do they believe in black magic or what?
