Its was on 3e.

Coleman was excellent, really good to see him put the nightmare in lisbon behind him. Really happy with all the players( bar yak ), played some good stuff in the first half and really dug deep and worked their nuts off in the second half when aek put the pressure on. Think fella is looking more assured, he really used his strength well tonight and rarely gave the ball away. Good response all round after the dissapointment of sunday and the way the players celebrated at the end hopefully they feel that this is the turning point in our season

last two games Jo has done quite well. We know he's capable of scoring regularly, but I think it's a confidence problem atm.

End Product? Scoring goals mate. That's what a striker does, and he doesn't score goals. He didn't have a bad game, I actually felt he started really well - but I don't think he puts 110% in at all. He has no pace, and his control lets him down - a little bit scrappy for me.

When we have Saha on, he is a goal threat. Jo isn't a goal threat, and long term it's not what we want.

Indeed, but no ones will ever claim he's a goalscorer, even those who rate him. But a striker shouldn't just be judged on goals, you look at there work in all departments.

Link up play especially, and today, whenever we got the ball into his feet, Jo was very effective and positive. With a team like ours, who struggle to control and dictate games, that is very important.

Baxter was playing right midfield, Coleman was right back mate.

Yeah my mistake.

Well do you not think Man City wanted to see goals for an 18m player.

Ok, this is what I see Jo doing.

1. Going down far too easy for free-kicks.
2. Going down when it would be more beneficial to stay on his feet and make use of the position.
3. I don't see him control the ball that well, it seems to squirm away from him far too often.

Today he did play ok, he was positive, but I don't think he's the sort of player we need to progress as a club - but as someone has said, he's here and we need to work with it.

Quick question though. What do you think of Emile Heskey?

He's a decent battering ram.

As for City, it depends what they are looking for. To be fair, they did spend a hell of alot more than 18 million on Carlos Tevez, who is far from a goalscorer.

Fair enough, I respect your opinion on Jo's role at the club. But he did play well, and for me, he deserves credit.
