Just wanna make a quick note about the Yak..

I know he was only on for a short time, but the guy strolls around like he has legs made of lead. What on earth has happened to him?

Thought Jo was also good tonight, as he was in the derby.

Jo played well.

I don't understand the lack of end product to be honest, he did what he was there to do. Work hard, Link with the midfield and hold the ball up. The funny thing is, in both games, as soon as he's went off we fell to pieces and resorted to knocking it long.

Whether he's good enough or not doesn't come into it, he played well.

Recovering from a serious injury, building his fitness, naturally lazy anyway.

Quality player though, he'll be back.

End Product? Scoring goals mate. That's what a striker does, and he doesn't score goals. He didn't have a bad game, I actually felt he started really well - but I don't think he puts 110% in at all. He has no pace, and his control lets him down - a little bit scrappy for me.

When we have Saha on, he is a goal threat. Jo isn't a goal threat, and long term it's not what we want.

I'm learning that this is a bad season to be judging players.

Yeah I really want to give Jo the benefit of the doubt, but he frustrates me. I really have no confidence in him as a striker. I want to, but I just don't.

I was brought up on Heath, Sharp, Lineker, Gray, Cottee, Newell, Campbell, Ferguson - players who knew how to score goals. I don't think yearning for that kind of player is not fair.

Jo never has and never will be those players. Of course we'd all love a new incarnation of one or more of them but we have what we have right now.

Jo was a loan signing to help us get through the season. He isn't great but has his moments and was probably the best we could of got.

Maybe next year we can buy a proper striker.
