He will be back on the bench Saturday so that tells it’s own story
That we have another player better than him in each of the 2 positions he plays. One of who just scored 2 goals on his debut for Brazil. Not exactly a back page headline story is it.

I haven't seen the game last night but listening to it on the radio the lad did OK. Commentators said he was unlucky to be withdrawn when Recharlison came on. Hardly sounds like somebody who was disinterested and didn't want to be there.

It's all about rotation mate. The wings seem to be the one area of the squad we have some genuine quality in depth. There are 4 wingers who are good enough to start premier league games for us, its all about picking and choosing to suit the opponent we are playing. For example, for me Bernard needs to start every game at home against the lesser sides as we need someone to pick the locks with quick incisive passing. But away from home against a big side then you'd go with Walcott and Richarlison for pace on the break.
My thinking exactly. Pace away from home or when we're playing the counter. Guile at home or when playing teams that park the bus.

He is either not ready for this level of football or not gonna make it, he did some good things last night like his shot and a couple of good crosses but I honestly think he has been better when he comes off the bench.

It sounds like he played well according to the commentators? The game wasn’t televised, so I think it’s a tad unfair to form an opinion either way

Showed some glimpses of quality yesterday and did work surprisingly hard to win the ball back on occasion.

I'd keep involving him in and around the team. Eventually it might click.

It was ridiculous to pick him against a Hughes team. The kid is such a lightweight he gets knocked off the ball when someone in the crowd sneezes. Putting him against a physical Hughes side is a recipe for lost possession down that flank. And unlike Richarlison, Sulky offers zero defensive effort when he doesn't have the ball.

that 25m offer will look like the best deal ever come the end of this season. should have bitten their arm off

Richarlison went down twice without being touched or sneezed on tbf
