His work rate and energy were good tonight, especially considering the summer. Thought he took the wrong option a couple of times tonight though and think he can learn a lot from Walcott who has a more direct approach.

I thought he was very poor. He looked to get involved and had a few moments of quality but mostly he just drifted around, ran down blind alleys and didn't communicate with Kenny.

Sort it lad this because this baby act is getting tiresome now.

Thought he did ok in patches , then just faded out of it.

He's all style no substance. He offers no goal threat. People are sucked in by the pace and stopovers just like Steve Walsh was, but the lad doesn't lay a glove on the opposition. He gives no effort without the ball either so he's a luxury we simply can't afford, and don't need. 25m is an enormous amount of money for him. We should have let him go.

25 million I would have took all day long

Who cares if he "looked dangerous". What does that even mean. He didn't do anything of note once again.

People will be making excuses for this lad still in 5 years time. He had a great chance to perform. He didn't yet again. Take the money, move on. It's the best for both parties and he certainly won't be missed. You can't miss someone who offered nothing.
