I hear what you're saying but Mykolenko isn't offering much himself so it's worth trying out Aznou especially as he's better going forward and we need to win our home games against the lesser teams in the league like FulhamYeah, I appreciate that, but, against Roma, in what was a friendly, he just looked so much weaker physically than all the other players. He's obviously got pace, and we desperately need that, but he looks to be a long way from being robust enough for the prem.
We will see a few of these imo.Feels like once Moyes goes we get a O'Brien style resurgence of a player.
Difficult to imagine Moyes frothing at the mouth for young players with no PL experience isn't it ?Him and Barry are definitely not Moyes signings.
He could have just vetoed their signings then, he’s admitted he had the final say on all transfers.Difficult to imagine Moyes frothing at the mouth for young players with no PL experience isn't it ?
Perhaps if they'd come from Britain or Ireland.
Him and Barry are definitely not Moyes signings.
I'm in no way the biggest fan of Moyes, but to be fair, he did reference his 'potential'.‘Not physically ready for the PL’
Who the hell signed him as a first team player then and why?
To be fair this is definitely not something to just be assumed.….why would that be? From what I know, Moyes is an integral part of recruitment. He should be blamed where blame is due.
The reason Aznou isn’t involved is because he’s been poor. The reason Barry isn’t a regular is because he’s been poor. It’s not rocket science.
To be fair this is definitely not something to just be assumed.
It happens all the time that a manager doesn't fancy a player, a new manager comes in and plays them, and they turn out to be great. Even players that original manager approved the signing of.
I just don't think one game is enough to judge that, let alone one fitness game for the U21s.…I’m not assuming Aznou has been poor, I’ve watched him (just re-run the U21 game at Bradford). Moyes does endorse all signings.
Aznou and Barry play in positions where there’s little ahead of them, Moyes will want them to be effective, I’m sure about that.
I've seen him twice for the U21s now and he looks like he has talent, but it's also been pretty stark just how far off he looks physically. Looks like a child playing a man's game. Also struggled defensively and his body language hasn't looked great if I'm honest.I just don't think one game is enough to judge that, let alone one fitness game for the U21s.
I think a lot of managers would play Aznou currently (not necessarily as a starter) and he'd be fine if a bit defensively suspect. Moyes was never ever going to play a teenage attacking fullback who's played very little senior football. I'm not saying this as a dig on Moyes, I just wonder what on earth the recruitment process was here. Who was promising this kid minutes or thinking he'd be a utilised part of the squad?
Yeah, I see that, but, I just don't think Moyes would even think about starting him at the moment. I dont agree with a lot of Moyes' decisions, but, I would understand his reluctance to play Aznou. Agree with you on Mykolenko BTW.I hear what you're saying but Mykolenko isn't offering much himself so it's worth trying out Aznou especially as he's better going forward and we need to win our home games against the lesser teams in the league like Fulham
Sadly I think you're right that Moyes will keep it safe. I fully expect Aznou to be loaned out in January at this rateYeah, I see that, but, I just don't think Moyes would even think about starting him at the moment. .
I’d quite like Moyes to be effective at the moment mate.…I’m not assuming Aznou has been poor, I’ve watched him (just re-run the U21 game at Bradford). Moyes does endorse all signings.
