Tactically though you have to be set up to exploit those moments and we are not.I wouldn’t go with Aznou on LW always, but try it as a 60’ sub experiment for Jack. It’s an instant change to the match.
Jack is great but he isn’t without flaws. It is irritating to know he’ll drive up to the left corner near the touch line, stop, draw three defenders, and either get the foul or maybe pass/cross. It’s what he does. You can patent it it’s that predictable.
Aznou is fast and aggressive. I saw him handling the ball on the wing and then moving into the box to receive.
Again, I like Grealish a ton. But he’s a rally killer almost every time. Same with Dibling. A very basic concept in any sport is that the moment you draw a double team, you can try to split them but always look up. It means at least one person is open. Jack and Tyler are almost always triple teamed. So look up and find the two wide open players.
And I’ll add to it. I said this in another thread, think of starting him over Grealish. Jack slows the game down and lets the defenders reset. Adam brings the heat to defenders. I’m tired of seeing play stop with Jack. He’s great. He isn’t the answer to all things and not all things LW. I’m more excited thinking about Aznou and KDH linking up than Grealish and KDH.This, all day. I’d have doubts at LB, however he looked very positive on the left wing.
You know, the answer might just be what a few others are suggesting, which I think in Moyes-land would be palatable... play him wide left mid. He did the same with Coleman at first before he 'trusted' him to play fullback. He has a nice touch, is clearly a much better crosser than Myko (the lowest possible bar) and generally better on the ball. But he gave the ball away and awful lot trying to dribble. If you do that at left back consistently you'll be really vulnerable on the break.
Moyes said he did very well, but opportunities will be limited playing in that position and he needs to physically develop to play left back.
And Moyes would never try something like this. He’s salivating to start Jack Grealish on left the moment he gets back and then straight to the bench for Adam. It’s sad because there are winning combinations in the club. You just have to shuffle the pieces occasionally. As a manager you have to be less close to your players and see them as pawns in an ever changing battlefield. You can’t let blind loyalty and inflexibility stifle winning ways.Tactically though you have to be set up to exploit those moments and we are not.
Moysey and his cult looking even more stupid after today’s performance form Adam, we shouldn’t be surprised.
Badly managed by the gaffer, clearly a player there.
So sick of the argument that they aren’t ready/good enough, when we’ve not seen them kick a footy.
Yeah, he did praise his performance in all fairness and acknowledged he did very well when he came on.Has he really?
He's an u21 career destroyer.

That Clown is still talking up Dwight mcshite ffs.

Question was about him not going out on loan and playing the rest of the season though and he poured cold water on that a bit.
I didn't think there was a chance of him getting to play left back this season, but I'd have him out wide ahead of McNeil every time tbf.So everything anyone with eyes knew
