2025/26 Adam Aznou

he’s hardly gonna come out and say ‘mykolenko is pony and the old man doesnt know ball’ is he?
He's not, no. Certainly not on an interview done through the club's official channels - it'd never see the light of day and would undoubtedly have repercussions.

He could, however, quite simply have declined the opportunity to put an interview out, if he is unhappy with how he's being treated.

We can summise about the situation and his happiness with it all day long but ultimately, based on the evidence publicly available, there's nothing to suggest he's remotely unhappy at the club.

I suspect if he wasn't happy he'd have been more likely to have agitated for a move whilst the transfer window was open rather than put out a gushing interview stating how much he was enjoying his time here. Wouldn't you?

Looks good mate, like the sounds of that.

Think we would get the best of many players mate.
I'd like to see 3-5-2 more, which I think is closer to what we had against Leeds.

Gives us Ndiaye playing off Barry and getting in scoring positions
A midfield 3 which fits the abundance of good 8s we have
Gets rid of Myko if Aznou comes in at wingback
Means no need for McNeil, and Moyes doesn't have to start Dibling, because playing him and Aznou at the same time would give him an aneurysm
Branthwaite with the freedom to stride into midfield and play forward passes gives us a big step towards fixing our build-up problems

Yeah, that’s prob what I was thinking more of, but would like to see some tactical versatility from Moyes with the options he’s got coming back now.

I don’t think he’s utilised what he has very well this season tbh.

Branthwaite could be massive for our season, and Europe or not, really hope he’s over his injuries, the lad is just class.

Think he let everyone know how he was feeling when he came on v Sunderland. 😀

Didn’t he reply to a post on social media stating ‘what does Aznou have to do to get a chance’ with a shrugged shoulders emoji - 🤷‍♂️

Word from Finch farm is that Moyes got one of those strength tester games that you find at a arcade and until Aznou gets to the super strongman level , Moyes doesn't think he has the physique to compete in the EPL , only thinks Aznou is currently capable of playing in the last ten minutes in the fa cup against an EPL team

Moyes wouldn’t even give Coleman a go at right back until he’d done a couple of seasons on the wing and even then he dropped him for months after seamus gave away a pen away to reading

One season later under Martinez he was in the team of the year

You got the timeline wrong mate? Coleman was a regular under Moyes for a fair number of years even tho he took 6months to cement his spot and his best football was under Moyes.

If I recall correctly:

A regular at right wing in 10/11

In and out the side in 11/12, at right wing

In 12/13 he started getting games at right back and performed really well, him and baines key to our attacking play. Then he gave away a pen away to Reading in November and was out the side for a while. There was also some fan backlash saying he couldn’t be trusted at right back

Came back into the side later in the season at rb and played really well, giving him the springboard for the following season under Martinez, which I can say beyond any reasonable doubt, was by far and away the best football he has ever played
