He was very good tonigh, other players played well but he was the only option for MOTM, especially when Allan went off, he was all over the field, terrific game and he was absolutely needed in the midfield after the Brazilian was injured.

add in Iwobi, Pickford, Sigurdsson from the last few games they’ve played.
The fickleness of an Evertonian knows no ends.

Iwobi now my new favourite player.

In fairness to Doucoure, he was absolutely woeful for a solid 4 games, but today he was absolutely excellent.

Siggardson and Pickford have warranted criticism, Iwobi has been much better this season. Had a bad game at left wing back against Leeds but he’s been good on the right hand side. Doucoure has without a doubt improved our midfield but he’s settling in and there’s more to come.

Excellent performance first half but he raised it a notch after half time, incredible second 45. His challenge on Harvey Barnes circa 70 mins on the edge of our six yard box was inch perfect. Top class display.

Had we got him in the summer of 2019 when we first tried then there's a very good chance Silva would still be here. He wasn't good enough but Christ he was left short of options in midfield.
