Surely a wind up...and not a very tactful one.

Fact...career high in goals in an Everton shirt.

Other fact...works harder than everyone.

His work rate is exactly what we need right now.

Will provide cover for the full back and never stops running.

He's not a world beater, but a player that can be relied onto to help steady things, until better times.

I like the little fella.

Spot on I see mate ;)

Delighted to see him brought into the fold again, more than happy to see him and Kenny again on Sunday.

Tonight would have done him the absolute world of good, well done Lennon

That's a good solid right side with those two.

Lennon won't always get it right, but have any of our players got it right this season ?

One of the few plus points and wasn't helped at all by us hitting it high to him first half

I've always liked him mate for exactly the reasons you stated - he's solid, tactically he's bloody superb and miles ahead if most players in that sense, he has pace, he gets into positions where I think even he would admit he should score more goals.

Very clever pick imo from Unsworth tonight, will give the fella a right boost

Should've been the RWB whenever we played 3 at the back?
Although, we shouldn't play a 3 as we don't have the players to suit it.

Yes mate imo I'd be confident playing him there because I've always seen an attack minded player willing to sacrifice that side if his game to be disciplined for the team.

He's just always come across to me as someone who takes the managers tactics and carries them out superbly

Not as flash as we'd all like, but you are going to get a 7/10 every game and just at this moment in time thays what we need. Lennon, Vlasic, Mirallas and Lookman sound like a great 4 to use for the 2 winger spots so let's use them I say

Think we will see him a fair bit for however long Unsy is in charge, no one knows Kenny better than Unsy and he was spot on to give him support tonight from Lennon, had he not we could have been looking at a Zappacosta situation on Baines but down the other wing against a inexperienced lad.

Always liked Lennon, not the best final ball but works for the team and has always played decent for us in spells, wasn't that long ago when it felt like he was bagging goals quite regularly.

Till Bolasie is back i don't really see us having a natural RW and we haven't for a while (except Del who we let go) think Vlasic imo is long term the left option, makes intelligent runs, works hard and has a natural instinct to drift inwards which isn't ideal for the right so can see Lennon staking a claim for the right till January if Unsy gets the job.

Would make a decent enough wingback. 5 times the player cuco is in that position. Grafts and pace but not a player we should be looking to next season. Rhino will use him.

The like of Lennon and Mcarthy are a good example that even though on paper you wouldn't put them in your first 11, they can come in do a job and balance the team, IMO a team of so called star names has to have these type of players to join everything together, Chelsea last season didn't start off great but the changed put Moses in (probably thought of as a bench warmer at best) then there team improved. Koeman was mainly just persisting with his signing and didn't want to risk trying to mix things up, the lineup last night was quite refreshing to see, I'm very interested what the next on will be like, none of the players are Unsworths buys, they have to prove they are good enough.
