It's a good point and it may well play a part. Equally other factors may be at play and first team football might be the last thing he needs. Pure speculation of course. Would obviously like a fit, well, and motivated Lennon ready to make a difference for the team.

Do not think so, failed medical.
Tricky ground anyway given the nature of mental health problems. They are not necessarily chronic and can manifest at any point in a person's life.
Plus there's an ethical dimension. Someone has had an episode of depression, has been treated and is ready for work - should you deny them? Most good employers support people in such instances.

TBH mate Lennon would be quite low down on my list of poor recent signings. For the amount we paid, irrespective of the lads mental condition, he's not been that bad a servant to the club. For a spell in Martinez last season he was arguably our best player.
