A fit Lennon has to play, he does so much for the team. Work rate and commitment is great. If everyone put in the same shift as Lennon we would be in a much better position and Martinez wouldn't be getting sacked come May.

You're right about Lennon. Cleverley is the same.
The vast majority were in fume when they signed because they weren't obscure foreign no-marks with €25,000,000 price tags. I love a patient crowd.

Clearly not possible technically but wouldn't it be just total payback if Terry scored a 98th minute offside OG to win us the tie....suppose we could hope for just the OG part.

Lennon starting today is a must based on his recent performances including his goal return, harassing of opposition and defensive duties.

While I would like to see Delboy being introduced, it certainly shouldn't be to the detriment of an in form Lennon. Two wingers though? Unlikely.

hopefully he's fit

Aye. Hopefully the hamstring concerns have been ironed out as at the moment he's a huge component of our overall threat and performances.

I'll be the first to admit that while I originally though he had a wonderful work ethic and added to our play defensively, I doubted his outlay.

He's happily proven me wrong as of late so his introduction could be vital.

So Lennon has a bit of an injury then, which could explain his withdrawl against West Ham that the majority of the weapons have been moaning about ('ridiculous taking him off', 'he didn't look tired to me). Naisse was the obvious like for like replacement at that point which the 'random substitution' anti Martinez argument out of the water.
Talk about those with an agenda going off half-cocked, just because they don't know any of the actual reasons for anything that happens.

Don't know if it's true or not, but I heard Lennon picked up a knock in training this week.

But you have a good rant on the internet if it makes you feel better mate (y)

Is the the famous knock
Was it a knock in training or was it a recurrence of a slight twinge he felt last Saturday? we shall probably never know. :)

Haha indeed, a knock round the back of the head from brown shoes.

Makes it even better when a player proves so many wrong. Love this guy now. Changes the entire tempo of how we can play. One more signing like this would see a massive difference

I wouldn't judge most evertonians with some on here, they are judging niasse after 15 minutes.

Mirallas will miss today yeah, one game ban. Lennon will be sharper than Deulofeu so hopefully he's there or thereabouts fit enough.

Is it just a one game ban? I was wondering if he'd get an extra game because it's his second red of the season after Swansea away.

Yeah it's defo a 2 match ban. One for the red last sat (2 yellows so only a 1 match ban for that) but he gets an extra game for it being his second red of the season.

And totally off topic but when checking on the FA site i noticed Wanyama at Southampton picked up a 5 match ban for his 3rd red of the season earlier.

Hate to think what their fans are saying about him now.
