Aaron Lennon ( On Loan January 2015 )

How much would you pay for Lennon in the Summer

  • Up to the rumoured 6 or 7 million - worth every penny

  • No more than 5 million - he's OK, but not worth any more

  • No more than 3 million - he's got no end product ffs

  • Wouldn't take him on a free, he's badly gash

  • Stop asking me questions and stick the grill on

His work rate and pace are a real asset to the team.
We look heaps better when he is on the pitch as does Seamus.

He's great at the moment but he has a pretty awful injury record and once his pace goes he won't be much use. The price should be right.

RM playing it down on it will not be easy to sign him long term - where's the sky money gone Bill!lol

...I know it was last minute but I suspect a transfer fee was agreed as part of the loan deal. All three parties would need to make it happen but the price shouldn't change because of performances. Might be wrong, though.

Can't say I believe that at all. All the signs point to him having a great time here. It's reviving his career.

I agree, especially since he held out for a loan move here in the first place. It's not out of the question though that he would want to try and get back into the Spurs squad given that he has a life down there. If he is on the way out of Spurs, I would be surprised if he wanted to go anywhere other than here, unless he wants to go abroad or something like that.

For 6 or 7 million I think based on his performances it would represent good value for money. Ok, that might be what we paid for Mirallas but he was special and prices have inflated considerably even in the last 3-4 years. He's had assists, goals, won penalties and freekicks. He has been playing like a quicker Pienaar, helping to knit our play together which we really needed as before h came in the passing in the attacking third was dire. One thing I really like about him is his runs and the amount of runs he does causes other players run off the ball as well to open up space. We weren't doing this with Naismith, Barkley and Mirallas before and it has been a big factor in our wins along with the return of Stones. I'm all for it.
