Aaron Lennon ( On Loan January 2015 )

How much would you pay for Lennon in the Summer

  • Up to the rumoured 6 or 7 million - worth every penny

  • No more than 5 million - he's OK, but not worth any more

  • No more than 3 million - he's got no end product ffs

  • Wouldn't take him on a free, he's badly gash

  • Stop asking me questions and stick the grill on

what a waste of money

no one wonder clubs like portsmouth are where they are spending 6 mil on aaron lennon pfft

6 mil you can get memphis depay a world class player
I've heard you can get Messi for 30 million mate.

Has been great since January, but I don't think he will continue his form. His pace is mainly his plus point, I wouldn't say his finishing or assisting are fantastic. £5,000,000 at most and if not, then we should look for a younger faster winger.

Spurs apparently want to get rid of a lot of their fringe players like Lennon so let them take the money loss on him :) 4/5 million max or no thanks :) Their apparently giving adebayor a free transfer to get him off their wage bill so the best price for us to get Lennon is at low as possible , offer them 2 million and other bonuses to bring up price!

A solid and dependable low-risk option for us, £5m would be a good price for a player who could offer us two more good years and could start when needed and be a sub when needed. Certainly no world beater and if he wasn't playing for us he would probably be at Stoke City but he would definitely give us some of the pace and directness we need.

Its not just the direct advantages of his pace and directness that needs to be considered. When he is running with the ball and cutting inside,as he did a lot last week, it creates space for others to exploit. This is exactly what Mirallas, Lukaku and Barkley will benefit most from. Look at what happens at The Shoite when Sterling and Suarez have done this, they look a different team and their results improve. All season we have played stagnant, slow possesion football and not got the results because we had been found out. I think £7m for him would be the right price, if we utilise his pace for the rest of the team.

7m is Spurs price tag, he has one year left on his contract and i'll be shocked if we had to pay more than 5m for him.
