A fantastic thing that I'm really excited about regarding Martinez at Everton so far

Its like point scoring, I wouldn't mind if Martinez been here a season but we're still in pre-season mate. Its a joke.
 
Barkley and stones looked class, Barkley has got a lot more confident on the ball all he needs now is to perfect his technique. We have a lot more depth now compared to before. Oviedo is also brilliant and a good back up for Baines. Gone are the days where we had absolutely no depth and played Anichebe, Straq and Drenthe etc.
 
Biggest positives so far are Barkley, Stones and Jelavic IMO. Hopefully Martinez is the man to get the best out of them.

Or should I say:

This is just some pathetic knee jerk reaction to a few preseason games. It's far too early to start thinking about how Martinez is doing yet. A penalty win against juve and all of a sudden everyone thinks we're going to win the league!

Excluding the signings, Martinez has made the squad a lot deeper.
 
Love how people who are made up to be rid of moyes are refusing to accept any criticism of the new manager. He has signed utter shote and lost games already.

If it was Moyes he would have been give the same stick

I'm willing to give him credit when it's deserved, (at Least 12 months) but some on here really need to climb out of his arse

Aye, but equivalently some people refuse to acknowledge the positives and breed doom and gloom upon a new manager who needs to be given time and is yet to play a competitive game.

Personally I'm sceptical, but excited for a new era.

He must be bad signing a Barcelona player and a striker that scored more than any of our players last season. We must be so bad if we lost to Real Madrid and Valencia!

Yeah I agree - but the balancing act between doom mongering and accepting the opinions of the sceptics has been met with very little reception.


Is it unacceptable to feel weary of this manager until he proves otherwise? Not a big ask is it?
