"Signed Besic on Monday, Barkley's new contract on Tuesday, Lukaku smashed our club record on Wednesday, windmilled on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, chilled on Sunday."
It's a very good week in that context.

We just need to see this pressed home now with another signing plus loanees and to keep all our players.

As great as it is, all we've done is basically stood still from last season while the teams around us bar Spurs have strengthened and will continue to do so. Barry can't be counted as a new signing, Besic won't go straight into the team and Henen is one for the future; we need more quality for the first team. A proper no.10 as an alternative for Ross would be nice

I think Liverpool have taken a big hit with the loss of BorussiaMunchingCentreBack, and all the Southampton players in the world won't make up for it. Chelsea and Arsenal have strengthened considerably but I can't say the same for United who still need some key signings. So far, we have only improved by a factor of Besic, but with all our sicknotes back, and our considerable core of young players one year better, a couple of more loan signings will see an even better and more settled Everton in the Premier League this year.
