Used to play Football Manager all the time, and Lukaku was one of the players I'd ALWAYS buy when he was a 16-year-old at Anderlecht, and he'd go on to become one of the best players on the game. Can't believe we're signing him on a permanent deal for Everton, amazing news. 24m is an absolute bargain when you look at players such as Lallana going for 25m, left-back Luke Shaw for 28m and so on. Just look at what top strikers go for nowadays... 100m Bale, 80m Suarez... if Lukaku fulfils his potential he has a gigantic sell-on value to Everton and will enable us to build for the future with or without him in five years time. Superb, made up.

As great as it is, all we've done is basically stood still from last season while the teams around us bar Spurs have strengthened and will continue to do so. Barry can't be counted as a new signing, Besic won't go straight into the team and Henen is one for the future; we need more quality for the first team. A proper no.10 as an alternative for Ross would be nice

Don't reckon Liverpool have strengthened to be honest. Sold the best striker in the world and replaced with a load of Southampton players that finished 8th and a fella nobody had heard of. Big fees don't mean better players.

Danger. DANGER!

I used to do the same with Ibrahima Bakayoko on Champ Man many years ago!
