only way I'll be happy with us in the Europa league is if we play a team like this...
Robles
hibbert Stones alcaraz oviedo
deulofue Osman Gibson mcgeady
kone vellios

Cringing at this. Why not just finish as high up the league as possible at get their on merit.

The fact we don't have a squad capable of competing in Europe yet, or a recognised striker either.

I CANNOT believe what I am reading! Shame on some of you sighting 7th place!

You all seem to think Spurs are the nails outfit they were 3/4 years ago, they're not, even if they are much better under Sherwood.

Assuming we had won what is now our game in hand v Palace then (as I type) we would have only been 2 points off them with our most difficult away games past us!.... And you never know, Cardiff may even sting them yet and make it just 2/3 points WITH our game in hand!

IT CAN BE DONE GUYS, STOP IT WITH THIS DAMN INFERIORITY COMPLEX! Yesterday we looked a different league to an in-form West ham, a team who have won at the lane twice this season I might add.

I'll take Europa as even our reserves should be capable of 2nd place in the groups and we're DEFINITELY good enough for 5th or 6th as our home form can see us through. Don't forget, we finished 6th in 06/07 having won just four away games all season and losing nine times overall, our 11 home wins getting us there.

I'm certain we have at least one more away win in us this season, so stop fretting!

New manager; new way of playing. Achieving European qualification in the first season would be a noteworthy achievement for Martinez.

Is totally right.

On the face of it a sixth place finish wouldn't be any better than last year and yea, the table doesn't lie. But under the old manager we weren't going to progress any higher and sixth was about as good as we could realistically achieve. We now have a new way of playing which gives us hope for better things. Despite some recent setbacks, it's way better being a Blue now than it was 12 months ago.
