Tim Ream named our captain by Poch. That’s him starting. Better be a back 3.
Every USMNT event since the start of 2026 has made me less confident of what is about to happen. Hoping we get a performance today to ease my feeling of dread about this.Tim Ream named our captain by Poch. That’s him starting. Better be a back 3.
I hope the US has a good showing as well. I just also hope that Iliman looks good too. Always so hard to root against club players.Every USMNT event since the start of 2026 has made me less confident of what is about to happen. There is a youtube channel opportunity for you here, using clips of american sports to illustrate the lingo and then it's application to football. Was it a defensive play by the US? If so they probably mean he cut off a pass. "Jumped" can mean "got in the way of" or "overtook".
The technology on display here is the best, probably the most fantastically bestest in the history of football. There is a youtube channel opportunity for you here, using clips of american sports to illustrate the lingo and then it's application to football.
It would work handily reverse engineered for us viewers also.
I think it's when you go from the inside lane on the motorway all the way to the outside to pass a middle lane hogger doing 65.Watching the US v Senegal. Senegal’s defence look like they have hacked the Everton coaching manual. 20 minutes gone and the US are 2 up.
Ndiaye looking very much like our recent version, barely involved.
Anyway, my point is, the commentator just said, that one of the US players had “jumped the passing lane”
If any of our Stateside readers are able to advise what this actually means, I’d be very appreciative ?
They beat Uruguay like last year or something it hasn’t been that longGood result for the US if it stays like this, first win in a while against genuinely decent opposition?
It means that they understand so little about football that they shouldn't have been allowed the tournament.Watching the US v Senegal. Senegal’s defence look like they have hacked the Everton coaching manual. 20 minutes gone and the US are 2 up.

Not sure if you’re serious or not. He played for Fulham for years. Just old now. But we have no one else apparently.
