What happens if yo get recolcated to a worse seat or view ?

Think how it works mate is, the renew date passes for everyone to renew their season ticket. Then those season ticket holders who had requested a move to another seat get the email to pick their new preferred seat, if their preferred seat in their preferred area isn't available and they don't fancy anywhere else they just stay in their existing seat. Also, the quicker you renew your season ticket the higher you are on the priority list to have the chance of moving.

Probaly a few reasons for that.

First, they claimed they were speaking for everyone. I will not have the worst behaved fans in Europe thinking they speak for me. It's like Millwall on steroids trying to speak on my behalf.

Second, the mighty reds have frozen prices for 8 of the last 10 seasons.

Thirdly they are increasing theirs by 3% as far as I'm aware.

Ours have gone up a whopping almost 10% in one hit, this is why most are well cheesed off with it.
After a hefty increase last season, too. I paid £825.00 for our tickets in the last season at Goodison, including £20 for the ST cards, so say £805

This morning, I paid £1,034 with tickets in the same age brackets and comparable seats. That's just over a 28% increase.

I think the club might end up somewhat surprised if they keep pushing their luck how much that waiting list dwindles. It's one thing to be sat on a waiting list for free and going the odd game or two. It's quite another to then have to commit over £1000 and 19 days a year to something if you've never done it before.

I think this is a hugely important point. I'm fortunate enough to be able to afford our ST tickets and the subsequent costs - cup games, ale, food etc.

It's also something I've known now for so long. However, if my son and I didn't have a ticket and someone and someone said it's going to cost...

... a minimum of £1k before all other expenses, well I'd probably think twice. There's only so long I can agree with having to pay for the stadium.

The responses on the club's twitter page are toxic.

I really do think they'll have to come up with something to get on top of the situation.

They've woefully miscalculated.
Let's see all the people that are moaning giving up the season tickets which won't happen and if it did they would get snapped up, so really they have not miscalculated anything, do you really think these millionaire business men don't know what they are doing.

That just shows how what a bunch of greedy bellends who couldn't give a toss they are mate. People struggling, cost of living going through the roof, I know, let's fleece the fans.

EDIT: sorry, meant customers.

You're misconstruing.

Fans can make their protests felt by other means: boycott the overpriced crap on sale at the stadium; leave off buying merchandise; chant their disproval inside and outside the ground.

It really wont be a good look for a new ownership to be seeing that in the media.

Especially when you consider that these greedy bells wouldn't have a firesafe bought club if the fans hadn't have refused to let the team go down.

They've shat on those fans who saved the club its PL cash. It's a thoughtless (and spiteful) way of doing business.

And history says it won't happen, there will be groans and moans and it will die away.
