2025/26 Season Rating

It's a 4 for me. Gone backwards in a lot of ways. Signings didn't work, players have gone backwards, no development of young players, season ticket prices have gone upwards, lost both derbys, terrible in both cups, best player out all season. I'm talking myself into scoring lower but we did at least avoid any talk of relegation and also ran in the European hunt.

A very generous 6/10.

Spending a season not looking over our should for pretty much the entire season, is progress, as much as it doesn't feel like it. But that's it, really.

4 for me. Could have been decent but ruined by a terrible final third of the season. I would even say that we are worse now than we were at the start of the season which makes us gone backwards. Pretty sure that progress means going forwards not backwards. Big decisions need to made after the final game no matter what the outcome.

4, ultimately it's tailed off badly and could have ended up as an 8 but a small overused squad plus a conservative manager have nose dived

The good - some cracking away wins and not being in any relegation battle
The bad - the tail off and the cup runs
The ugly - some terrible home results and points thrown away late on recently

Not in a relegation battle seemed a refreshing change….

Failure to grab Europe, very disappointing….
