He's gone to war with college protesters.
It would have been far more sensible to let them do their thing.
He has 5 or 6 states he needs to win, that's it. And one of them is Michigan.
None of the way he's handled Gaza will play well with a large part of the electorate there.
Some will definitely hold their nose and vote for him but an awful lot of younger voters wont turn out and I'm not sure where he makes up the numbers.
Just gotta hope a lot of the people who voted for Haley in the primaries wont listen to her now and wont vote for Trump.

Less anger and more apathy, as probably a lot of those young people see it, its between bad guy and worse.

In 2020 it was voters mobilization more to stop Trump than some popular support for Biden, 4 years later and Biden is no longer blank slate, just another bland ancient shithead, so yeah, that 2020 euphoria and hopeful young voters mobilization not gonna happen again.

I agree with that but Trump is still Trump and probably an even worse iteration of himself. I just imagine after 6 months of his campaign a lot of those apathetic voters will still feel enough to get out to stop him. Maybe I’m naive but I will continue to hope for now.

This war in Middle East is absolutely not helping Biden, and a lot of these young left oriented Americans see this as Biden helping in genocide. Biden is between two fires, his support for Israel is turning off young voters and him being president all focus is on him.

If Trump is smart (better so say his team) he gonna stay quiet about Israel/Palestine and let Biden take all the fire and focus.
For some reason Americans seems to be obsessed about Israel/Palestine above all else.

But if people are sensible (asking a lot I know) they will remember that Trump is a huge Israeli ally and hates Muslims. Things will not get better on his watch.

I agree that the sensible thing for Trump to do would be to stay quiet on the subject. But Trump, sensible and stay quiet are three things that don’t have a particularly great relationship.

No the point being if Russia makes a break through then its a failure that Trump can genuinely hammer Biden on and use his "I'll end the war on day one" schtik.

If he lets Ukraine loose to start hitting Russian troops grouping up over the border its, ok not a win for Biden, but not a loss.

I just think the WH have got the calculations wrong on this.
