How Far Trump Would Go
In exclusive interviews, the former President lays out a second-term agenda that would reshape America
Straight up terrifying
It's just a horrible issue for him. Any incumbent's worst nightmare is having a valence issue become a contentious one among their own base. They spend four years positioning against the opponent on the issue chasing persuadable opposition voters, only to have it backfire and cost them votes among their own.I havent see all of Bidens speech on the college campus protests, but from what I have seen, it seems like he's doing his best to lose in November... christ!
Yup, but I've a feeling he/they dont quite grasp how much younger votes they're sacrificing for persuadable independents. It's just a horrible issue for him. He's juggling a big, unwieldy coalition. It's the core problem the Democrats have.Yup, but I've a feeling he/they dont quite grasp how much younger votes they're sacrificing for persuadable independents.
Why not just say nothing, It's worked for him so far.
Is this just for online renewals/registrations? I’ve only ever done mine in person here in TN because of the absurd additional fees that come with doing it online, but they always just print ours on the spot and you walk out with a new ID.Getting my car registered today and get this pop up on the DMV site

Somehow this isn't shocking with an election this fall.

But you’re right…it’s almost as if they planned it this way.
But even though the Biden Administration has utterly failed in its role to limit Israel’s aggression, we know that Trump would have been worse. In the aftermath of Israel’s attacks, Trump has promised that if elected, he’ll bring back the Muslim ban, bar refugees from Gaza, and impose an “ideological screening” for immigrants who are perceived to sympathize with Hamas.
When Israel’s fascist National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir says a Trump Administration would be better for Israel and its current war in Gaza, you should believe him. Trump is the same man who moved the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem, appointed a pro-settlement zealot as his ambassador to Israel, and is indebted to a white, Christian evangelical base that believes Jews must control Jerusalem as a necessary condition for the “end times.”
It’s shameful and disheartening that Americans will have to choose again between two aging, white men who have spent their careers catering to the whims of the privileged establishments of power and wealth that remain allergic to bold progressive reforms. Many voters feel like they’re being emotionally blackmailed and hijacked, choosing between two poisons. Even though this is our current depressing reality, it is not a permanent one.

Once Upon a Time in America: Biden Is Very Old and Out of Touch, and Here’s Why You Should Vote for Him
Joe Biden is far from perfect—and his handling of the genocide in Gaza is worth criticism. But he's better than Trump.progressive.org
I think we're right at a tipping point now.
Bidens speech today will probably talk about the right for students to protest but not the right to disturb other students ability to study.
This from the man who months ago stood on the UAW picket line and disrupted auto workers going to their jobs.
He drew a hard line at Rafah but now apparently the bombings arent a real attack and it's only east Rafah or something.
Either way, Bidens insistence on trying to appease everyone will end up appeasing no one.
The 'undecided' movement could gain serious traction.
In my opinion he needs to be replaced as the nomination at the DNC conference.
Yes, look how restrained the Israelis are with Biden holding them back. Just 34,000 Palestinians murdered. But even though the Biden Administration has utterly failed in its role to limit Israel’s aggression, we know that Trump would have been worse. Another false equivalence.Yes, look how restrained the Israelis are with Biden holding them back. Just 34,000 Palestinians murdered.
To believe that theres any difference between the Democrats and Republicans / Trumpians on this is laughable.
They'll ALL stand by and watch a whole people ground into the dust. That one of them wrings their hands in faux concern is neither here nor there.
I don't think you repaying attention to your own nations history. Its Democrats who stick their oar in and launch adventurist 'nation-building' foreign policy (mis)adventures. It's Democrats that have historically pandered to Israel.Another false equivalence.
If you think a Republican controlled everything wouldn't try to wipe anything Muslim off the map, then you aren't paying attention
