Think it’s too early to say but there is a guy called Christopher Bouzy who started an analytics company to initially track misinformation on social media. In both the last American election and the midterms he called things pretty spot on and he thinks the GOP (and therefore almost certainly Trump) are in a bit of trouble.
He says they are doing terribly with independent voters and says Trump needs them and an increase in female and ethnic minority voters to win.
I’m not saying I think he is right. Just sharing his view as he has been pretty solid on this stuff over the last 4 years from what I’ve seen.
This probably doesn’t belong in here given he isn’t really in the race but it’s incredible to think people will waste this much money on RFK jr. $50m ffs

When I step back from the emotion of it all, the realities are 1) Trump hasn't done one thing to increase his base, they are just the loudest, so 2) his only chance of winning is people staying at home and not voting.
While the media hypes up people saying they won't vote for Biden b/c of any number of reasons like Israel, he's too old, etc, etc, I think another year of the Trump horror show will wake people up that they gotta do their duty come November. Turnout will NOT be light come November.

Also, when trump ran against clinton I think he got a lot of moderate and undeclared votes. If anything he struggled with evangelicals and had to enlist Pence for the christian right vote.
By 2020 that had swung the other way and now it's the polar opposite. He's got the fundamental christian vote but no moderates or independents.
He needs more than christian fundamentalists and brainwashed fox/newsmaxx viewers to take the white house.
Rates will come down this year, keeping the market buoyant. There'll be a lot of people with healthy 401k's not looking to rock any boats.
An unpopular war in the middle east with boots on the ground could change all this tho.

Sorry, thought I was in the Trump thread which is why I didn’t clarify. Just been reading up on Stefanik and her boot licking does appear to be putting her in pole position for Trump.
