A vote for Trump is basically saying you don’t care about any of his misdemeanours or scandals. His attack on democracy at the last election, his narcissistic ways and his views on women’s rights, his sexual misconduct, etc etc etc

A vote for Trump is saying morally you are in the gutter. That’s it really, it’s that simple.

Exactly how I see it. It says a lot about posters on here that would vote for him. The ones who are not even n the US - weirder

yep it really is as simple as, don’t vote for the racist rapist.

Just to follow up, here’s a chart of average household spending on gasoline as a percentage of total expenses. Prices have gone down a bit since the chart cuts off in early 2023. As you can see, no matter how much people like to complain, the cost of gas is currently at near all-time lows.

Gas prices were obviously lower during the pandemic. It’s not hard too understand.

You can’t seriously not understand that nosedive in prices had absolutely NOTHING to do with Trump. As I recall there was something like a once in a lifetime global pandemic that caused demand to flatline, and as the chart shows, normal service resumed the moment people started leaving the house again.

Funny, people seem to forget that very same thing when talking about unemployment and jobs differences between Trump and Biden.

Just a gut feeling, I've looked at everything from the voter registrations, the early voting data, and just general sentiment / momentum. I think Trump is going to win.

People don't grasp how long political actions sometimes take to filter through. Trump was able to take credit for Obama's stewardship of the economy, and has been able to blame Biden for his own shafting of it.

Well the thing with the early voting data is that even if there are a lot more republicans voting compared to 2020, we obviously don't know whether they're voting for Trump or vice versa, that's where my gut comes into it and I just have this feeling he's going to win.

That cycle is a tale as old as time. Obama spent most of his administration cleaning up the financial crisis the Bush administration was largely responsible for, only to have Trump come in and take credit for how good things were in 2017-19.

Funny is funny, i cant even be mad.

I ate last night after yoga though, and wont eat again till this afternoon. And ive been working since before 9.30.
