Why don't you just say a woman's right to abort a child ?

What other right besides that did trump talk about women's 'healthcare decisions' which frankly is a sly way LL of you to try to disguise what it's about.

So what is the women's healthcare decision mate?

Is it the women's right to abortion?

If so why not simply state it as such

Seems a bit weird to not say it in the clearest way, doesn't it
See, this doesn't sit right with me at all.

While LL has clarified why she's referred to it as a healthcare decision, this line of questioning feels a lot like it's in the same spirit of the tactics the pro-life crowd use to shame women. "Why can't you just say abortion? What are you trying to hide?" that type of thing.

But when the issue is abortion why not simply state it as such mate.

Educate me on what women's healthcare issues trump want to restrict then mate, I'm all ears.
Others have tried to educate you and you refuse to listen/learn. By passing strict abortion bans with no exceptions (as many states have done), you restrict women’s access to other types of healthcare because those things become collateral damage.

Is trump trying to limit women's healthcare in any other way besides the right for abortion?
Yes. Project 2025 calls for the elimination of birth control and the monitoring of suspected pregnant females.

Right now, states are enacting draconian measures that limit doctors in how they can treat women.

For example, a 19-year-old presented herself with fever and bleeding to an ER in southeast Texas. She was diagnosed with sepsis but because her fetus still had a heartbeat, the doctors sent her home without treatment. She returned hours later in worse condition. The hospital, to cover themselves legally, insisted on two separate ultrasounds to confirm no fetal heartbeat before they would admit her and treat the sepsis.

She died. Completely unnecessarily.

I have no problem with anyone who has a constructive opinion.

I'm trying mate, think by now hopefully you see I do try to create debate rather than oust crap GIFs or platitudes.

So the central issue which effects women's healthcare issues is the right to abortion, without that no other issues are effected, correct?

Is it time for predictions yet? And why?

I’m saying Harris by a more comfortable margin than people expect.

A) I think pollsters are accounting for silent trump voters in a way they haven’t in the past so as not to get caught again whereas some people are expecting the same dynamic as in the past that the polls are underestimating people who are silent voters.
B) I also think that there will be far fewer actual silent trump voters than in past elections
C) people are reading too much into early voting figures relative to 2020. Yes they are a good example of voter enthusiasm but 2020 was during a pandemic and relatively at the time democrats were far more likely vote early as a result. I think the trend for early voting post pandemic, like WFH for example, is on an upward trajectory going forward
D) a lot of people are looking at the selzer poll in absolute terms when it’s more the direction of travel and the impact elsewhere. I don’t think Harris will win IA. But even if the poll is overestimating harris’ numbers by 8%, it would still represent a significant improvement relative to 2020 which would have big implications in other states. Plus being out by 8% would represent a large margin of error from that pollster relative to her past accuracy.

Just my read and prediction off the back of what I’ve seen.
Also, he's a massive gobshite - a lot more people have figured that out.

Horrible mate, as is the project 25 agenda.

I will state it now, in no way am anti all abortion in this way, do I believe abortion should not be used as a form of birth control - damned right in this day and age especially it should not be.

Should a woman have the right to abort under certain circumstances - hell yes, should those circumstances be I don't want a baby and CBA using protection.... Sorry no I don't think that's a valid reason. And I didn't think that either when a gf aborted our child either because it was inconvenient to have a kid at that time
