Mate the comment doesn't upset me whatsoever, I've never even been to the USA never mind live there.
It's just an amazingly stupid and potentially very damaging thing to have said on the eve of an election.
When Hilary said a similar thing it damaged her badly in 2016, this could well be a repeat of that
I seem to recall Trump being caught on tape admitting he sexually assaulted women, and it was released right before the 2016 election. The effect of these things are always exaggerated

Cut to the numerous times Trump has referred to those who do not support him as "garbage". Yes, the exact same word. As well as "scum". And "evil". And "the enemy within".
Also, note that the POTUS nearly immediately issued a clarifying statement. The former POTUS does not issue such nor does he apologize.
WIthout trying to derail this thread - it is similar to ISrael - Palestine. People with no affiliation to either continue to 'stand with Israel' despite everything we are witnessing and have done for decades. They are just used to saying it.
People who continue to vote Tory also, after the last 14 years of devastation.

tbf he did have a concept, it never got near congress though. the 'concept' was to turn federal healthcare funding into block grants.
The block grant system would create discrepancies in healthcare coverage across states. Some states might allocate their funds to comprehensive coverage, while others might choose more limited plans, leading to unequal access to healthcare across the country. Terrible idea that'll impact the most vulnerable Americans.
