Those of us here in the USA, that have stayed close to the goings on since 2020, have seen this coming from years away.







And we have people are this forum STILL saying things like we're overreacting, there is no propaganda, the GOP learned its lesson, etc, etc.







They are absolutely going to doing to do whatever it takes to get Trump into office. And no way he concedes. In fact, he's just going to come out and say he won election night

Trump isn't going to "steal" the election. He will win in an electoral college landslide, winning all of the swing states whilst he may win one of NM, NH, VA.

On a serious point though, how the hell are Trump and Harris within the top 100m for the role of US president, never mind the final two.

An 80yo tangerine with wandering hands and a vague grasp on reality Vs a diversity hire who if she wasn't in politics would find it hard to hold down a job as a waitress (especially as she appears drunk most of the time) whose biggest claim to fame is a being the VP for a guy with advanced dementia and insisting he's sharper than anyone she's ever known.

Trump because right wing Americans are nuts. Like they're running against a guy with dementia, with high inflation and a slowdown in the economy. Had they have had anyone decent, the election was over. Trumps the single biggest reason the Dems aren't dead and buried.

As for the Dems, they bizarrely left Biden in charge for too long. How they didn't see an 80+ year old man can't run, until 3 months out is bizarre.

To be fair to them, they backed themselves into a corner, and had to go with Harris. The Republicans are mad, but I don't get the Democrats excuse.

Secession

The word you're looking for is secession

As in "to secede"

Why did they secede?

Slavery - or the fear of the abolishment of it, the belief that the states rights were no longer represented (due to the first) - giving them the justification to secede, and taxation - the feeling (true) that the south was being used to pay for the north by way of taxes.

Lots of other causes stated by each of the four initial states but in general they are the three most occuring commonalities.
