I realise that if you're an American there's a real sense of foreboding of what Trump's second term in office could bring.

To someone outside the US it's a foreign policy election. Some want an outcome that will double down on what we saw under Biden: arming of Israel and Ukraine to the hilt and wars where American servicemen are inexorably dragged into; some want a facing down of the Israeli apartheid state and to get a peace deal done in Ukraine...because this is Europe and we live here and its much more in our face than you over there can appreciate.

I know I'm a thick Yank but it sounds like your single issue has multiplied. Have you been feeding after midnight again?

I know it's been answered, but it's tantamount to saying, "if you know Yorkshire well, and I know it well - especially Liverpool," except that it's even worse because the biggest and most famous city there is called Minneapolis, so it's pretty weird for any American to mess a quick recall of "big city in Minnesota."
