You are slipping Dave, I had you down for criticizing Walz about something within 24 hours of announcement, it has been almost 36 since his name leaked!
He just comes across as a bit of a clown with a load of corny gags when, presumably, the Democrats were looking to underline that the adults are back in charge.
It's a fairly reasonable thing to point out, and I'm sure it's a point that's been made elsewhere.
It's his stance on Gaza that I look to though.

So for all his folksy rhetoric positioning himself as a good guy he's still prepared to keep faith with Israel and keep safely at a distance Palestinians and those protesting against the assault on Gaza.
