I realise that if you're an American there's a real sense of foreboding of what Trump's second term in office could bring.

To someone outside the US it's a foreign policy election. Some want an outcome that will double down on what we saw under Biden: arming of Israel and Ukraine to the hilt and wars where American servicemen are inexorably dragged into; some want a facing down of the Israeli apartheid state and to get a peace deal done in Ukraine...because this is Europe and we live here and its much more in our face than you over there can appreciate.
