I think for political quiescence the Democrats have thrown their retention of the WH away.

Newsom could have been the clean slate they needed to wipe the floor with Trump.

Hopefully Trump comes a cropper with something from leftfield.

Think that is his major negative issue tbh. Sec of Transportation just means that you are blamed when the trains/planes don’t run on time and mayor isn’t a big enough position to say you can handle the job of VP.

He’d have been in a better position if he’d run for a statewide or congress role in the past 4 years and had some clearer individual “I did this” achievements to point to.

Yeah I can see that and being a US citizen you’ll clearly be more on top of it than I am . Everytime I’ve seen him on tv , my knowledge of him , I’ve been hugely impressed by him . The bloke always seems on top of his brief and well reasoned in the points he makes.

As I said previously though the fact his sexuality doesn’t seem to be an issue is quite refreshing, excluding certain posters obviously.

I don’t understand the anti-IVF stance at all. They want people to have kids so why would they stand in the way of it? They don’t want abortion, they don’t like women who don’t have kids. But they don’t want to give women a chance to have a child that they otherwise wouldn’t have. How does any of this make sense?
