Let's be real clear here. You want a female president, but the moment I call out a narcissistic abuser for what she is you shove me into dyslexicblu's camp. It's stamped all over her face. If you know, you know.

This is a team sport, Harris divides us in ways that will cost us the election and you want to defend her because she was born with a certain set of genitalia. There's an easy solution to the problem, which is this: back up and select a good female candidate. Not Hillary 2.0. That didn't work in Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and Michigan last time, and it won't this time. The reason is real simple: because she nauseates me, and men like me, every time she's on a screen.

It's a large enough demographic that she"s an 'L'. It's not one you can identify, because when we make the mistake of calling the police when the abuse gets physical we get charged. Been there, done that, got that merit badge.

Bluntly, you and the people liking your posts could care less about me, or what I have been through. I happen to know I'm far from alone. You don't, because no one will tell you. You react like this, so men shut up.

That does not make your fantasy world real, LL. It just means they'll talk to me, because I can relate to the abuse. They'll never tell you, because they know you'll react like this.

That's just reality. She's living, breathing votes for Trump that haven't happened yet. They won't tell a pollster any more than they'll tell you, but they'll do it. I'll hold my nose and vote for her, because I get the stakes, but I'm also way more educated than most of the victims of women like her. I assure you they will vote Trump.

I’m sorry for your pain and I hope that as time passes some of those wounds heal and that you find some peace x

First off Martin, I'm sorry for the abuse you've suffered in the past. The struggle is real and you have my fullest sympathy

Just regarding Harris, what did she do that would be classed as abusive? I've never heard that about her until seeing your posts so I'm just interested in learning more about it really

My point more broadly, personal pain aside, is that Harris is how we lose. I'm just telling you why and how.

I'm telling you that our society doesn't just minimize my pain. It straight doesn't care, and punishes me for expressing it.

This is why and how Trump wins, and steering into it is not the way.

You are right, society as a whole has made strides on domestic abuse against women by men (although still a long way to go) but the reverse is rarely acknowledged let alone punished.

If we’d have had an open primary would Kamala have been my first pick, probably not, but at this point i believe she is the only option as Biden dropping out this late makes it logistically impossible for anyone other his VP, who inherits the national campaign infrastructure, to be the nominee. And even if I didn’t it all seems to have been concluded - as of last night she has the delegates required and no credible opposition has surfaced.

I think we agree that another Trump presidency would be a grave threat to our democracy so I hope you are wrong about her chances.

My point is this: I'm not the only one who hates her guts for what she is, it's not fixable and her issues more or less zero in on who the Democrats need to win, and not in a good way.

So my claim is this: run anyone else. Run Whitmer, run Bashear. I don't think they're the answer either, but I think they're better than this one.

Your first point might be true but both of those candidates, and any serious others, have declined to run and are supporting Harris.

I'm sorry mate, I know this isn't what you want but she'll be the nominee.
